You have a latest Multimedia smartphone,at the time of buying the phone, you were told that memory of your phone can be extended by using an expandable memory card as your phone comes with less built-in memory. It means that you can take as many pictures as you want and you can save them in your phone memory card. But memory card for your phone needs to be bought separately. There are many memory cards available in the market but, which one to be used is the question. There are many acronyms such as SD,RS-MMC,Translash Card etc.
There are five different types of memory cards as, Transflash, miniSD,MMC,RS-MMC and Secure Digital Cards. We suggest you to always use a multiple card reader.

Use of Multiple card reader allows easy transfer of pictures and files from your cellphone to your PC through an USB port. Cell phone memory card should be chosen with proper care,as card with high storage capacity are not compatible with old devices. The most notable is RS-MMC or Reduced Size Multimedia Card which is also available in Dual Voltage Variation(RS-DV-MMC)are very common these days and most of the Nokia handsets are using them. Some other memory card types which you will come across are Compact Flash,MicroDrive and MMCmicro Cards.
So memory cards should be chosen with proper care or it may result into memory card damage or data loss.
